Determine the Area of a Quadrilateral

A quadrilateral is a four-sided math shape.

To determine the area of a rectangle, we can use the formula: length multiplied by  width  (LxW)

If the length is 5 cm and with width is 10 cm

5cm X 10 cm = 50 cm2

If you have an irregular shape, you can determine the area by “creating” rectangles in the shape.
