Clockwise & Counterclockwise

A centre of rotation is a fixed point around which other point in a shape will rotate.  They will rotate in a clockwise (CW) or counterclockwise (CCW) direction.

CW

This is the clockwise direction.  It is the direction in which a clock moves.

CCW

This is counterclockwise.  It moves in the opposite direction of a clock.  It does not move like a clock.
